AND FINALLY …
(or the perils of being a Brass player down Walmsley Avenue way ?)
Wife: "Where did you get that massive Brass instrument ?"
Husband: "Its called a Tuba love, and I nicked it from him next door."
Wife: "Why ?, You can't play it."
Husband " I know, but neither can he now !!."
Reflection: Love one another
“Love one another as I have loved you.”
What a challenge
Does that mean I’ve got to love my enemies?
Does that mean I’ve got to love my political opponents?
Does that mean I’ve got to love those whose opinions I can’t tolerate?
Does that mean I’ve got to love the vandals who have no respect for property or person?
Does that mean I’ve got to love those foreigners who, they say, come here and take jobs away from our own people?
Does that mean I’ve got to love people of other faiths?
Does that mean I’ve got to love those people who pour scorn on my faith?
Does that mean I’ve got to imagine the worst possible situation, or person, that could enter my life and I’ve still got to love them?
What did Jesus do?
So! There’s your answer.
