Copies of the new plan will be available shortly.  It will be circulated electronically and hard copies will be available on the foyer table

Christian Aid Week. -- Bring and Buy TODAY

Christian Aid Week 2025. We are no longer involved in house to house collections but want to still support Christian Aid. There will be collection buckets around for donations and we plan to have a bring and buy stall following the service today on the 25th May when the proceeds of the tea and coffee following our service, will also go to Christian Aid.  

Birthday celebrations

Alan would like you to join him at Rishton Golf Club on Sunday Afternoon 15th June ... 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

(Buffet at 3:00 ) It's his 90th Birthday celebration and friends at RMC are welcome to be part of them!

All he asks is that you let him know if you intend to be there so that the number attending can be passed on for catering purposes...

The Thursday Ladies

The Thursday Ladies will meet this week on Thursday 29th May, at 2.00pm in the small meeting room.  No speaker this time - we are having a dominoes and chat afternoon. This is our last meeting at the church until September, (although we have a lunch at Churchfield House in June), so I hope to see as many of you as possible.  The meetings are open to all ladies, whether attendees of this church or not.  Madeleine

Table Top and Crafts Sale

Saturday 28th June. 10am - 2pm   If anyone would like to hire a table to sell goods tables are £10. 

If you require a table to sell goods, and the proceeds are for the Church the table will be free.

There will be a Cake Stall, Raffle, Light Lunches and Refreshments available.

Stephen, Rebecca and Amy would like to thank everyone from Rishton Methodist church who sent cards or shared in the funeral service in memory of Katherine last Tuesday.  Your attendance was a great source of comfort and we felt really supported by our church family and friends.

Easter 6 Prayer United Reformed Church

Lord, we are gathered here today as one body, because you chose to call us your friends. We come from all walks of life. We have had our share of good days and bad days. In the world’s eye, we aren't good enough or worthy enough to have this bond; but in your sight, we are exactly who you need. Despite all the drama, we made it here to worship and praise your name. May the love we experience today in worship restore us, revive us, refresh us. God, use our broken selves as tools of hope and love on this day. Lord, we love you. Thank you for loving us and calling us your friends. It's in your name, we pray. Amen.
